CÔTE D’AZUR – The French Riveria Optional Extension |

DAY 1 – TRAVEL TO THE
CÔTE D’AZUR VIA ARLES (D) Today we travel to PROVENCE
and the CÔTE D’AZUR (the glamour coast). Enroute we will stop in ARLES,
a town rich in history with its Roman ruins such as the arena, one of
the best preserved monuments of Roman Provence. Later we arrive at our
place of stay along the coast where we will spend the next few days
exploring the spectacular French Riveria.
DAY 2 – COASTAL DRIVE & CANNES
(BD) Today we will take a drive along one of the
world’s most beautiful coastal roads to CANNES, renowned for the
International Film Festival which is held here each year. With its
luxury yachts, cafes, and boutiques, it has become a playground for the
rich and famous.
DAY 3 – ST TROPEZ (BD)
ST TROPEZ situated on a peninsula and famous since the early 50’s for
glamorous tourism Despite its popularity it has kept its authenticity as
a typical French village. Traditional fishing boats in the port and
pastel coloured houses add to its charm.
DAY 4 – ST PAUL DE VENCE &
TOURETTES SUR LOUP (BD) St Paul de Vence is a
charming fortified village founded in the 9th century and perched high
in the hills of Provence. Wander through the cobblestone streets where
you will find wonderful art galleries, shops and restaurants. Known as
the artists’ village it has been home to many notable artists throughout
the years including Marc Chagall who live here for 20 years. Later we
will visit the small village of Tourettes sur Loup which retains its
original charm. A walk through its narrow streets is like stepping back
in time.
DAY 5 – DEPARTURE (B) Today after breakfast our tour
comes to an end – we say our farewells and transfer to the airport in
NICE.
